M&S “EVERY WOMAN”
Marks and Spencers have launched a fresh TV campaign to launch it’s Autumn range, swapping the celebs in favour of a cast of beautiful every women. The new range is adorned by normal girls of all shapes and sizes, rocking the new line to “Girl Like You” by Edwin Collins.
Directed by Jake Nava for Cherry Studios for RKCR/Y&R and edited by Nick Allix at the Whitehouse Post London.
The spot was shot over three days at Park Royal Studios and Allix comments that “all the footage was shot at high speed, which allowed me to mess around with frame rates. It’s refreshing to have that kind of freedom”.
D&AD nominated Allix, adds “”I’ve done a few music videos in my time and this was a similar approach. The track really drives the pace of the cut and is intrinsic to the overall feel of the spot”.
Featuring women from 20-57 yrs from a size 8 to a size 16 the new spots aims to target “every women you are”.
