Cap Gun Goes Extra Sharp with Cracker BarrelBack to Blog
Cap Gun partnered with McGarry Bowen (Ad Age’s Agency of the Year in 2010) to craft a new hilarious spot for Cracker Barrel. Directed by Cap Gun’s Alex Fendrich, the spot includes several performers from the Second City improv community, which boasts veterans such as Gilda Radner and Stephen Colbert. “After speaking to creatives,” explains Alex, “I felt like this was a perfect fit for Chicago talent. Smart performances, we knew it would be quality and fun.” Fendrich, a recent recipient of the D&AD Award for Branding, is no stranger to Second City, having written and performed several original revues with the company with his strong background in teaching and directing for the stage. He currently performs three nights a week, at several Chicago shows, such as the Armando Diaz Experience – the longest running all-star improv show in the city – and 3033, an “improv supergroup” according to The Chicago Reader.
